Colombia enviará ayuda humanitaria a Gaza en medio del conflicto Israel-Hamás
El presidente Gustavo Petro aseguró que la ONU debe citar la asamblea general de manera extraordinaria

El presidente Gustavo Petro anunció que su gobierno enviará ayuda humanitaria a Gaza en medio del conflicto en medio oriente entre Israel y Hamás, una tarea que será gestionada por la Cancillería Colombiana buscando apoyo de Egipto.
El mandatario insistió en que la comunidad internacional debe solicitar un alto al fuego en Gaza e iniciar negociaciones de paz, en ese sentido, celebró que los 27 países de la Unión Europea señalaran que Israel puede defenderse apegado al derecho internacional, es decir protegiendo la vida de los civiles.

“Por fin la respuesta de la Unión Europea recuerda el derecho internacional. El ataque a civiles de manera sistemática está prohibido. Los genocidios están prohibidos. El personal sanitario y hospitalario debe estar protegido. Los requisitos mínimos para vivir deben estar protegidos”, dijo el jefe de Estado.
El presidente también pidió a que la Organización de las Naciones Unidas cite de manera extraordinaria la Asamblea General.
Por último, el presidente aseguró que no se trata se estar o no del. Lado equivocado de la historia “nadie sabe cuál es, se trata de estar del lado justo de la historia”.
